This PWM Charge controller regulates the charging of your batteries from a solar panel.  They are essential in order to maintain healthy long lasting batteries.  PWM charge controllers slowly limit the amount of power being induced by the batteries as they near a full charge.   This allows the batteries to gain a proper correct full charge and reduces stress on the batteries resulting in prolonged battery life.  PWM charge controllers also stop discharge from happening to your batteries, so you can keep mind at rest knowing the batteries are being properly regulated.

The nice and slick design of this charge controller compliments it's easy to understand digital LCD display.  On the display you can see the battery voltage and various indicators relaying information to you about how the charge is going.  There are warning signs for battery voltage too low and and indicator showing the output is good.

This charge controller also comes with a 5V USB port which can be very handy for charging other electrical items.

The controllers come in a 10A, 20A and 30A variance and should select the appropriate one for the charge current you are intending to use.  The output of the charge controller is either 12v or 24v and should not be used on anything above the mentioned voltages.
