A stunning and rare large antique gilt bronze bust sculpture of Diana the Huntress wearing a head piece, by the well-known French sculptor JEAN-ANTOINE HOUDON (1741-1828), with polychrome red detailing along the tapering base, very nice details and old patina with some traces of verdigris, in very good condition, signed ‘’Houdon Sculpt 1767’’ at the back, made in France, circa late 18^th – early 19^th Century

Dimensions are:  19 inches high, 11 inches wide, 6 inches deep, the round base is 6 inches diameter, weight is 20.4 lbs
