Horse Tricycle 

Miniature Victorian Style 

This is a wonderful miniature of a Victorian era style children's tricycle or velocipede. It would make an outstanding addition to any collection especially a doll collection. Highly collectible vintage / antique. Horse is made of hand carved wood with all joints intact. Varnished. Wheels are wood with iron rims and staggered iron spokes. Struts are hand poured cast iron. Pedals are metal. Wooden saddle and saddle blanket are detailed in a floral semi-transparent stain. Has carved mane. Metal joints appear to have been brazed with a copper alloy. 

Measures 16 inches long, 20 inches tall, 12 inches wide. A miniature. Saddle is 12 inches high. Weighs 6 pounds 6 ounces.

I carefully searched for any imperfections on this piece and was not able to find any that were not in the original, handcrafted piece.
