A nice example of this lovely sounding 35WPC amp. Produced at a period when Technics really was as good as the hype, this relatively inexpensive model came from the same range as items like the SU8600, and 9600 ranges, which were quite possibly the best made Technics amps of all.
Functions are easy to see from the photos, and soundwise, it appears to pack a much bigger punch than the conservative power rating would suggest.

I have replaced the balance control, power switch lever and earthing post for the phono input, which had suffered slight damage. Condition is great for age, with only a few minor marks.

I Service, Repair, and Restore old HiFi for a living, and am a Qualified Electronics Engineer (BSc-London).  I spent many years in the Audio Industry, as as a developer, designer, and manufacturer of well reviewed and respected equipment. I always endeavour to ensure that all kit that passes across my work-bench, leaves fully operational as originally designed. Physical, external damage is often hard to disguise, and I usually choose to make sure prospective customers see this as part of the transaction. Although the nature of the work cannot allow for an official warranty beyond failure at point of delivery, I always look after my customers in the longer term, should anything untoward go wrong.
