Garcia Nähmaschinen: Machine à Coudre. Hamburg on linen 28x32 poster original 1906
Garcia. Machine à Coudre. Gelatinized color lithograph on cardboard. 77.5 x 50 cm. Hamburg, Gebr eagle to 1906.
The hanging temporarily on all major advertising columns advertising poster for the sewing machines of the company Garcia. In Hamburg, printed at Eagle Original version for the French market. Shown is a blonde housewife in red dress reform to their Garcia-sewing machine that quite corresponds with its neo-baroque trim in gold and colors, the taste of the Fin de Siècle. The poster is one of the few, yet without the usually imprinted in black reference traders note in the white box under the display. - A few, barely visible creases; unraveled in the right margin a little and fragile and expertly restored on linen.
I am selling off my huge collection of art consisting of 50,000 pieces including prints, posters and art books at wholesale prices that are MUCH MUCH LOWER than you will find from dealers or other ebay sellers. THESE POSTERS ARE ALL ORIGINALS – NO REPRODUCTIONS! As you know there is a huge mark-up in the art business so save your hard earned money and don’t pay 3 times more for the exact same items from someone else.
