This item is the second of a series of incredible custom made instruments we have acquired. This beautifully-inlaid 8 string Mandolin was designed by Luthier Antonio Sai in the early 2000s. After choosing only the best materials, three months were spent crafting the fine instrument. It produces a beautifully bright, sweet sound with plenty of volume. It was painstakingly hand-inlaid with several hundred pieces of abalone and mother-of-pearl featuring an intricate phoenix design.

“I am so happy with it, it is just so beautiful that I have to admire it each time that I take it out of the case...He has never seen such a beautifully crafted instrument so our time together was spent sharing it. I am practising every day and enjoying each step. Sorry, raving but that is how I feel. Thank you so much for making this lovely instrument available. Pauline”
