This is a beautiful antique Art Deco Bakelite boudoir table lamp. The lamp is composed of butterscotch Bakelite with ivory overlay panels and bottom base. There is a design etched into one side of the panels. The lamp is in excellent condition with no cracks or chips. It appears to have been rewired and works perfectly. The original paper shade is beautiful. It is 6-sided, made of card stock, and is decorated with beautiful floral designs. There are ribbon accents that have been attached with staples. The shade has a sturdy metal frame and is in very good condition with just one small tear in one of the panels (difficult to see - please look at photos carefully), and a small amount of wear at the bottom edges of the shade.
Lamp base dimensions:
7 1/2 inches tall base to the top of the bakelite
10 inches tall to where the lightbulb starts
With shade attached it stands approx 14" tall.
Lampshade dimensions:
9 inch x 10 inch bottom
5 1/2 inch x 6 inch top
6 1/2 inches tall
