What is Hackintosh?:
Hackintosh is a term used when Mac OS is installed on non apple hardware. There are 1000s of enthusiasts running these Hackintosh PC's. There are even full pledged companies selling Hackintosh PC's in Europe and Australia. Most people are starting to prefer these desktops for more computing power and easier upgradability.

Shipping Update:
Due to the recent amount of damaged claims coming in from cross country Ground Shipping, I will be unfortunately no longer be shipping any desktop valued over $2000 in cross country ground. If you are located more than 3 Business Days Ground from Princeton New Jersey, you will be required to upgrade to Fedex Express Saver (3 Day) or faster. I do realize that the extra cost is an inconvenience to my customers, but I would rather have you spend an extra $40 than to receive something damaged by ground. In addition, you are also paying to receive your desktop in 3 days versus the typical cross country time of 5 - 6 days.

Why is shipping expensive?
Please do realize that shipping carriers are now charging by dimensional weight. Which means if I ship out a 24 x 22 x 14 in box in my same state, that only weighs 10 lbs, I still get charged the dimensional rate which is close to $80. On top of that, I fully insure and have signature required for all builds. At the end of the day, these are all electronic parts, and it would be terrible to hear that a shipping carrier damaged something which is the reason why I insure everything. For every $100, I get charged $1 for insurance, so on a typical i7 order almost $20 - 30 is spent on insurance. On i9 orders the insurance cost is even higher at $40 - 50. In addition, I always double box and shrink wrap all my orders for added protection. At the end of the day, I would like my clients to receive their packages packaged well. Alaska and Hawaii customers are welcome, please note your shipment will be shipped using USPS Priority Mail. International Buyers are fine as long as you can pay for the added charges.
