 We are offering the service for repairing, rebuilding your 2001, 2002 and 2003 Toyota Picnic ECM (ECU).

The automatic 01-03 Toyota Picnic models, either 4WD or 2WD, are commonly having issues with the transmission, with symptoms that may suggest a bad transmission. The good news is that in 98% of the cases (1 out of 50), the problem will be fixed for good by just CORRECTLY repairing or replacing the ECM (Engine Control Module). This module controls the engine and the automatic transmission of your vehicle. Our solution here is to professionally repair your ECM and it is offered in a very affordable price.

You would need to uninstall (remove) your ECM from your vehicle (easily done, no mechanic needed), and mail it to our location. We repair, rebuild and reprogram it. Then it is rushed back to you and you will be ready to enjoy your car again in a way that you probably did not before. 


The following are the most common symptoms, but there are more symptoms not listed here:

-Hesitation or harsh shifting, specially in 3rd gear
-Shifting erratically
-Harsh engagement with a "bump" in reverse
-Sometimes it feels like it is braking by itself
-Rattling, clicking or weird noise coming form the engine/transmission area
-One day it magically works ok and the other day, all the issues are back
-Issues show up only when cold or only when hot
-When stopping in a red traffic light and start moving again, it feels very heavy or sluggish
-Check engine or trouble codes are not present in most cases
-If check engine is present, it gives P0750, P0753, P0755, P0758 and P1760 codes
-Consumption of too much fuel in many cases (low fuel economy)

Repair - it means that you have to send us your unit, we will repair it and send it back to you

This issue will also affect:

-The 2001, 2002 and 2003 MANUAL Toyota Picnic ECMs. The most common issue is lower fuel economy, but will also cause some other minor issues.

-The 2001, 2002 and 2003 Toyota Picnic and Toyota Avensis ECMs.

-The 2004 Toyota Rav4 automatic ECM, either 4x4 (AWD or All Wheels Drive) or 4x2 (FWD or Front Wheels Drive)

All the ECMs of the above described vehicles are welcome here for service.

This is something to be treated with urge! This will happen to ALL 2001-2003 Toyota Rav4 ECMs if it is not replaced or PROPERLY serviced. Some will fail soon, while other may take some more days, months or even years. It all depends on usage, vibration, temperature and moisture of your area.

Once the ECM starts failing, the automatic transmission starts to be in high risk of getting damaged by the ECM failure. Are you wondering if your vehicle is affected by this? Below is a partial list of the Toyota part numbers affected. This number is shown in the label of the ECM. If the part number of your ECM is not in this list, you may contact us to make sure if your ECM is one of the affected parts.

The rule is, if it is a 2001-2004 Toyota Rav4 with engine type 1AZ-FE (2.0L), 1AZ-FSE (2.0L) or 2AZ-FE (2.4L), then we can fix it for you!

procedure:

you send me your damaged unit ECU/TCM and we will repair it, you will recieve shipping details after payment

please be sure if you ship the unit to me that it is good protected\packed so it WONT DAMAGE during shipping

Resetting the ECU/TCU:

After you remount the ECU in your car again it MUST BE RESETED this must be done with a tool like Launch master, or just go to you Toyota dealer ship

after this the car shifts like new,.

Dont be fooled wat you read about relearing adaptions, this must be dont AFTER resetting with diagnostic tool and a 20 minute stop and drive test
