Muong Nông Tektite Cabochon

The provenance of the rough individual stone was from the collection of the tektite researcher "Darryl S. Futrell", and as I understand it was then probably acquired by UCLA who also numbered it "FT454".

I still have the 224.80 carat - very showy sawn corner end piece with the numbering centered, which is not included in this sale. Acquire about availability separately. (Left with great rough surfaces, as a thick chunk ideal shape for faceting if sacrificed.)
