This utterly delicious, vintage angelic babydoll set of 'angel top' and panties makes for such gorgeous nightwear. It reminds me so much of the romantic bed attire Samantha from the series 'Bewitched', so popular in the 1960s/70s wore! she was the beautiful housewife-witch in the program and she wore the most amazing clothes..particularly nightwear!! We have the series recorded and I never tire of seeing how beautiful clothes were in those days..so lady-like, romantic, feminine and soft....

 

The set is incredibly soft butter smooth nylon, sheer chiffon nylon, cloud soft and so delicate and feminine. It is one of those lovely vintage garments which are eminently wearable, yet incredibly sexy in an innocent kind of way with its girlie silky, almost fluffy cloud or candy floss appearance.

It is a lovely shade of soft powder blue with contrasting midnight black scalloped lace, it is such an adorable shade...bon bon hue, almost like candy or sweeties depending where you live! it is that kind of colour ~ silky translucent nylon, babydoll style, negligee...whatever you want to call it, it is gorgeous!

 

The fabric is exquisitely silky and soft and the sheer nylon chiffon in blue contrasts beautifully with the midnight black.

100% nylon ...circa from the 1960s most possibly, to the early 1970s

 

Babydoll Angel Top, has matching lace as the bust and all around the top of back and hem, and it has a sweet little side pocket also trimmed in black lace.

The bust area is delicately gathered and the fabric flows loosely from there, accentuating shapely breasts and a female curves with delicious soft cascades of the butter soft sheer nylon/chiffon falling delicately down and culminating on the pretty hem.

The French knickers are so adorable and match the angel top perfectly. They are nicely gathered at waistband and have the beautiful black lace on sides and also a pretty, silky pussycat bow on left and right sides. The waist has pretty, black picot loops and it is a flat fancy elastication.

Crotch is lined with soft downy cotton for your comfort whilst wearing.

Can of course be worn as lingerie or bed time!
