The Propeller screws onto the propeller shaft thread and should be locked in place with the nut on the prop shaft.

A tip to help stop your prop vibrating loose, put a smear of rubberised adhesive (Evo-stik or Bostic) on the thread before fitting the prop, this helps prevent the prop vibrating loose on the shaft.

Thread lock will work but make sure its the removable type, or you will never get the prop off.
