Fluorocarbon Tapered Furled Fly Fishing Leader w/ Micro Swivel & Furled Line Indicator 

   Offered for sale is a premium quality hand made furled leader. It has a 12/10/8/6 taper. (Twelve strands at the butt end tapering to 6 strands at the tippet end.) It are made with 2 lb or 4 lb 100% fluorocarbon line because a highly visible leader is not what you want to present to the fish.  The butt end has a shorb loop for attaching to the fly line.  The tippet end has an ultra micro swivel for attaching tippet to the leader. The swivel is very light weight & rated at 35 lbs.  This swivel eliminates the line twist you often get when fishing woolly buggers or other similar wet flies.  The swivel allows you to easily change the tippet without damage to the leader.  I usually use  36" of tippet at the end of the furled leader.  

   (New)  In addition to the leader you get a red 13" furled line indicator.  It attaches between your fly line & your tapered leader w/ shorb loops.  It is a big help in keeping track of your leader location & movement.  It also acts as a strike indicator if your line is not too far away. 

The standard leader is made w/ 2 lb fluorocarbon line & comes in 5' or 6' lengths.  It is great for rods in the 2 to 6 wt category. (The 5' length works best for rods shorter than 8').

The heavy duty leader is made w/ 4 lb fluorocarbon.  It comes only in 6' lengths. It is ideal if you are going after the big boys or have a heavy weight rod.
