US 1895 Bureau Issues: Scott #264 Variety Mint Plate of 3 with/Imprint (ReverseWatermark & Plate Number Anomaly)
1c (Franklin), P12 DL Watermark, Type V Imprint, Flat Plate Issue 1895.
NEVER HINGED/HINGE REMNANT, ORIGINAL GUM.
Bottom plate #452 Strip of 3/Imprint. Position #2 with hinge remnant, position #1 & #3 ARE NEVER HINGED.
There is a doubling ( additionally) ghosting of the plate number (noticed on the back) from a separate strip os 3 (455 to be specific) making it a nice EFO in addition
to the watermark variety. Selvage has natural gum skips (trivial) however the strip is fresh displaying very nice color and 4-margins. The item also has a "REVERSE WATERMARK".
I will imagine Scott will someday start listing values for these watermark varieties.
