Mahogany Torchere Stand
A good quality torchere of decent proportions presented in
original condition. We come across these often and to be honest they are
sometimes flimsy in stature, poor quality, low in height or even worse, some cobbled
together shed effort… so it’s pleasing to find one which is well crafted and of
good height. We particularly admire the wide stepped base which sits on its
original age tarnished paw feet at the corners. The thick slightly tapering
stem is reeded with the top finished with a leaf pattern – all well executed.
All sitting firm with age related marks.
Good to find a decent one!
