This silverplate piece is an unusual mix: the base is marked Walker & Hall Sheffield, the top, which fits perfectly, is marked Elkington. The top also has a logo of a standing lion with Gloria underneath and the monogram ESM on the other side. The server has a separate insert as well. The piece has three hooved legs with shell decoration on top. Condition is very good: the only flaw is the different makers of top and bottom and some minor wear to plate along the scalloped edge of the base. This piece is perfect for berries, creams, or other side dishes.
