Due to being an Apple product specialist, we can repair 97% of all faults but in some cases where it is beyond economical repair we won't charge you a penny on the repair even if we spend hours on diagnosing and repairing - NO FIX NO FEE, GUARANTEE**!!!

How it works?

The Fix Fee Price of £129.99 inc vat includes:

  1. Replacing any components to the logic board that is defective or preventing the laptop from turning on (excludes CPU / PCH).
  2. Running copper wires from one component to another (broken traces) if required.
  3. Return postage using a fully insured courier.

After you press buy it now, we will email you a link inviting you to our website (www.imac-repairs.co.uk) to complete some details about you and your product. You will then be given a booking reference which needs to be written to the outside of the parcel. This ensures that we know who's the owner of the laptop when it arrives at the workshop.

When we receive your product we will start a 6 stage process:

  1. Pre-wash using an Ultrasonic Cleaner using a mixture of concentrate liquids to clear away any layers of corrosion and contamination after liquid damage.
  2. Start diagnosing the fault using the latest testing equipment and schematics (map of the logic board).
  3. Repair the problem. (This includes all repair to the logic board including running wires (if damaged) and replacing components.
  4. Post-wash making sure your logic board looks brand new again.
  5. We also give your laptop a bit of TLC, clean the fan, heat sink and apply new thermal paste to the CPU.
  6. Use an Apple Approved Diagnostic Software to make sure your laptop is running like to was before the damage.
Once the repair process has started you will receive regular updates via emails to keep you informed of the progress.

If we are unable to repair your laptop after stage 3 of the process we will contact you and discuss your options. If the product is return back to you unfixed you will receive a refund back to PayPal for £95.99  (the cost of the repair fee)
If any additional parts are required which aren't covered under the fix fee repair service (keyboard, screens, cables, touchpad, batteries etc.) we will contact you first before continuing to get your authorization.

Terms and Conditions

  1. Our Service
    We will do our best to ensure that you receive the best possible service we can provide. If you are in any way dissatisfied with any aspect of our services please do not hesitate to contact us by either eBay messaging service, telephone or email.
  2. Goods Warranty
    All repaired items come with a 12 month guarantee again the same fault arising. Please note that our warranty does not cover products that have been subject to unauthorised modifications or water damage after our repair. If a warranty item is returned we will access the problem and advise you if the item has been subject to either unauthorised modifications or water damage and discuss your options. A tamper sticker will be placed to safe guard this. If the tamper sticker has been remove or tampered, then NO WARRANTY will be offered. In the event of a fault with an item within the warranty period, we will repair the item. When returning an item under warranty, we are responsible for the postage fee (for the first 30 days from the start of the warranty). If this scenario should happen we will endeavour to have your Apple product expressed repaired (1 to 2 days).
  3. No Fix, No fee
    The repair cost is £95.99 and this includes all labour charge and components that are used on the logic board (motherboard) it does not cover screens, batteries, keyboards, touch pad, cable/flexes screen cables, keyboard backlight film, Wi-Fi card, microphone, USB ports, battery bif connector, casings, buttons, cameras, or any other product outside of the logic board only repair service. We will contact you in all cases if we find a fault with the above mentioned to give you a price before any work is to be carried out. All rights reserved.
  4. Goods
    All goods remain the property of www.imac-repairs.co.uk until the outstanding invoice is paid in full. This can be either by PayPal or BACS.

  5. Fix Fee Refund
    You will receive a refund for the repair in the unlikely event of us not being able to repair your Apple product. This will be issued once it has been delivered back to you and can take up to 48 hours.
