This is a Hub City bevel gearbox gear drive.  It has a 1:1 ratio, meaning that every time the forward shaft spins 1 turn, each of the side shafts turn 1 turn.  The one has a chain sprocket attached to it.  The sprocket may be removed if the user chooses.  There are 20 teeth on the chain sprocket and there is approximately 1/2" in between each of the sprocket teeth.

There is the word "safeguarding" stamped into it.

There is another number stamped into it:

05-71-002-1-0

There are several uses for the box, as notated on the manufacturer's site:
  • Construction Machinery
  • Packaging Machinery
  • Food Processing
  • Bottling Equipment
  • Bulk Material Handling
The shafts spin freely without any extra effort.  The only issue(s) with the unit are the mounting studs.  There is one mounting stud broken off and another one that looks like it may snap off.  If you can mount it without the studs or if you can weld it, you'll have a good working unit.

Terms and Conditions:

Now for some legalities/procedures/additional information:

Shipping anywhere in the Continental US is $13.75.  Outside the Continental US, please message prior to bidding for shipping cost.  Items usually reach Asia within 14 days, Europe within 10 days, Australia within 14 days, and South America in 14-18 days.  No idea how long it takes to reach Africa.  Buyer is responsible for any customs tariffs or duties.

Items using the "Buy It Now" feature are due immediately upon purchase.  All other items,
please pay within 7 days of auction close.

If you would like a confirmation message regarding whether the item has been sent, please include it in the "Note to Seller" section of the Paypal payment window.  Valuable/expensive items are automatically given a delivery confirmation number which is conveyed to the buyer.

Shipping amounts charged for items are "guesstimates."  Any overages will go into the guesstimate fund, any underages will come out of the guesstimate fund.

eBay charges fees on shipping too!  The fees are 10% of the shipping cost.  If the shipping charges are too high, please keep the following in mind: it takes fuel to go the post office and the supply store, supplies cost money, and the eBay fees on shipping.  Paypal also charges fees on shipping too.

Please understand every attempt is made to ship items the next business day.  For the record, items are shipped within 72 hours of receiving payment, excluding weekends.  Most of the time, items paid for on Friday are shipped on Monday.  Most items are shipped the next business day.

Careful packing is always the goal.  Bubble wrap is used whenever possible and feasible.  Packing items do cost a great deal of money over the course of several auctions.

Positive feedback is always proactively left for buyers as opposed to sellers that wait for positive feedback.  My goal is to make the purchase experience as rewarding and easy as possible.

Thank You for taking the time to look at the auction.
