Tweed Champ
The Tweed Champ has been the most used 5 watt amp for studio recordings by various artist such as Eric Clapton, Joe Perry and Jimmy Page. The Champ is single ended and class A, designed with a simple circuit it will crank up nicely at bedroom volumes and will sound great also with a boost pedal for extra break up.
Hand Wired to perfection and a wiring layout you will appreciate. Our very own branded Achillies power capacitors for ultimate tone and stability have been adapted to the build. Strictly requested (knot free) Radiata pine when building our cabinets, which gives that perfect balance we need to offer you the finest amplifiers on the market. Constructed with Traditional Dovetail Joinery and wrapped with authentic Fender Tweed cloth covering or select our range of tolex covering options. We have gone to great lengths to apply the tweed cloth that the pattern will flow in the same direction anywhere you look at the cabinet, as did the originals. To finish the cabinet we have applied 2 heavy coats of Nitrocellulose lacquer to protect your amplifier for years to come.

Achillies Amps uses TNT or SatrTrak for domestic destination and will post orders to confirmed Paypal address only, unless an alternative address is provided via email confirmation. We cannot send to P.O Box addresses if package is larger than a 3 kg bag. All orders will dispatch once the order is completed and ready for shipping. Tracking will be available and emailed within that time frame of booking with the freight company. All orders oversized will be sent with the least expensive courier method. Tracking will be provided with a guaranteed delivery time of 3 business days. We also offer combined postage rates. You can save a lot of money on postage costs when purchasing multiple items. Each item will despatch on half of that items posted courier rate, so email us for a detailed postage quote. For confirmation of courier rates or any additional services please contact us before you make your purchase. International Shipping Achillies Amps ships worldwide. All international orders will ship via FedEx. Shipping rates are based on size and weight of the package and we also offer insurance if required. Return Policy
We strive to give customer satisfaction by being accurate and understanding to the customers needs. Orders are carefully taken in consideration to ensure that all specifications are correct to the customer’s requirements. Please understand that NO REFUNDS will be issued for custom ordered cabinets. If the item is defective upon arrival we will ask you to return the item back to us in it’s original packaging for investigation. Product returns must be sent back to us at buyer’s expense, within 30 days. We will replace, repair or refund the purchase price in full depending on the circumstance. Please be ready to provide pictures of the product and a written explanation of the reason the item is being returned. We are always happy to assist!
