It is the gear stick and roller assembly which picks up the paper from top feeder.
If you have problems with paper being picked up from ADF, this is the part you need.
It is replaceable without any screws.
TO REPLACE: first you pull the stick from the ADF Feeder cover, then unclamp the roller assembly.
