This jersey was worn by Robin Ventura in 2012 and 2013 or by Mark Teahen in
2011. This batting style jersey was used from 2011-2013 and this version of the
batting jersey subtly changes to a button front design from the earlier pullover
with one-button neck. This change to button front jerseys was mandated by MLB,
and all teams changed simultaneously in 2011. Cool Base fabric, side panel is
now gray, different from 2007-2010 design which had a gray underarm panel only.
Numbers are twill, white outlined with gray. It is a black knit button-down
pre-game warm-up jersey with a silver mesh panel under each arm to the jersey
bottom. This style was used starting in 2011 by the White Sox. “SOX” sewn on
diagonally in white edged in black and outlined in silver sewn on the left
chest. Majestic emblem on the lower left sleeve. No player names on the back of
the jersey. MLB emblem patch on the back just below the neckline in team
colors. White sewn on numbers edged in gray. The COOL BASE tag is on the left
lower seam with a white small size tag next to it with “48” on it. The tag
continues inside the jersey and has “0780” imprinted on it. Tagged in the lower
front with the large Majestic Authentic Collection that has a silver sticker on
it that resembles a hologram but has no information on it. The tag also has
“CHICAGO WHITE SOX” on it. Size 48.
