Up for offer is this gorgeous antique Shagreen finish jewelry box - likely for a strand of pearls. It measures 8 inches wide, 3.25 inches deep and just under 1 inch tall. The 2 pieces were likely connected at some point and the lid has some wear/damage -- not unusual in an antique paper item. The inside has a silk lining that has a few stains and inside the lid is a lovely young woman wearing pearls. It is still a fantastic antique box - and it comes as shown.
