When I was a young girl over 40 years ago my father was in the antique jewelry business.

He used to come home with all kinds of treasures and I am now listing many of them as I discover them!!

This is a true treasure as yet undiscovered.

In the early 1970's when President Nixon opened up trade with China, my father bought these from them.

They are the most gorgeous colored enamel pieces...each one slightly different in color.

Very unlike the quality from today.

They each have a beautiful substantial heft and are clearly made with love and attention.

This is a New old stock (nos) large enamel "Bead" (for lack of idea what to call it).

It measures approx. 1 5/8" (42 mm in diameter) x just under 1/2" (11 mm ) thick.

It is two sided and puffs up in the middle.

I envision it as a necklace that you can put a dangly piece at the bottom or a plug of some pretty sort and design your necklace around this center piece.

This one's main background color is Black.

It has Butterflies on it!
