Amazingly Rare Barovier Pulegoso Lamp from Murano Italy early 1950's
This stunning hand made Murano Art Glass lamp has a central core of Pulegoso glass :- millions of tiny bubbles giving an opaque white appearance which is then cased in a thick clear layer then large drops of clear glass that have picked up gold foil before being applied to the surface. The whole appearance is reminiscent of icicles and snow. A pair of these rare lamps sold a few yews ago for just under $US 10,000. Note in the last photo there is an image of lamp with a shade this is just to give an idea of what it could look like as it does not come with a shade . I'll leave that to the new owner to suit their own taste. Condition :- Great original usable condition .No Chips ; cracks etc... Size :-
