The only thing we ask is to not send us boards that are in poor cosmetic shape due to failed repair attempts. We reserve the right to refuse boards that appear to have been previously worked and deemed unfixable. If it was repaired but worked, then failed again, we will do our best to work with the board and get it back in working order unless the fix used warped the board or damaged other components.

 

Instructions

After you pay for service, the following will occur:

 

1.    We will send you all shipping information and an order form so you can ship the board to us. When shipping the board to us, please use the following caution:

a.    Make sure the board is shipped in a box that has plenty of room around the board (to avoid shipping damage)

b.    Wrap the board in ESD safe bubble wrap if available

c.    Provide lots of padding for the board in the box

2.    Ship the board to us. Be sure to send this with the completed order form so we know what to troubleshoot and fix.

3.    Work will begin on the board within 24 hours of the board being received unless otherwise noted. Photo confirmation will be sent once the board is working.

4.    We ship the board back to you. We will pay all applicable shipping charges for return shipping.

 

Warranty

We offer a 6 month warranty for all work completed. By using new parts when replacing major components, we cut out the risk of having a repair fail unexpectedly. We typically replace all BGA components that have failed unless there are clear signs of oxidation or cracked solder connections (except GPU’s, which are always replaced). Why put a band-aid fix in place instead of addressing the root cause?

 

Shipping

Return shipping will be done via USPS Priority Mail. Other services will be available at additional cost to the buyer.

 

Returns

We offer a 6 month (180 Day) Warranty on the work that we do. If you experience any problem that is directly related to the repair offered/completed within 30 days, we will provide either a full refund. After 30 days, we will typically offer a free repair or refund if the board is deemed unrepairable.
