These are sewing patterns which can be used to make doll clothing for 18 inch dolls such as American Girl.  McCalls 9118, in addition, to having patterns for 18 inch also includes patterns for 14 inch dolls.

The following garments can be made... top and shorts, cover-up, tshirt, pants, top and skort, tshirt, and jumper.  The costumes in McCalls 9118 which can be made are kimono and headband, bodice, purse, skirt and hat, overskirt, cummerbund and bow, jacket, beret, top and skirt.  The outfits represent France, Brazil, Kenya, and Japan.

The patterns are used.... Complete and cut.

The McCalls pattern is from 1997.

The Simplicity pattern is from 2005.
