Carl Falkenstein created many lamps during the 1940s through the 1960s. Whether or not it is an original will have to be determined by someone more knowledgeable. I purchased these at an estate sale and I have no personal knowledge on their history. The lamps are stunning and are in working condition. If there are any imperfections I did not see any and if there are any they would be minor.
Lamp height without shade including mounting fixture for bulb measures approximately 23" tall. The shades by themselves measure approximately 18" tall.
The shades are old and fragile and there is some staining, the ribbing at the top and bottom are starting to pull away from the fabric (possibly because the glue maybe drying up) and a tear is noted on one. They really need a good cleaning or replaced. If you would like the shades they are yours but if you would just like the lamps the shipping costs Should be a bit lower to reflect that. I would prefer to ship in 2 boxes but this quote is for one large box. The shipping may possibly come in a bit lower but I will not know that until they are packaged.
