This
system is similar to Lutterlohs Golden Schnitt in that they both
utilized miniature patterns that were enlarged to the sewer's
measurements.
This system uses measuring tapes to enlarge the miniature patterns. I've included a copy of the directions in English.
There
have been several questions about the patterns so hopefully I can
answer them here.
The pattern books I have for sale are scanned from my
collection. These pattern books are up to 75 years old and were not in
pristine condition to begin with.
I did this to preserve wonderful books
that were disintegrating.
I have cleaned up tears & dirt, replaced
cut out and missing patterns where I could, ironed crumpled pages, and even had to
redraw some parts of the patterns.
Here is a comparison chart
showing the difference between the early Eclair Coupe Paris patterns and
the patterns I have.
Prior to 1933 the patterns were larger. The
patterns are approximately 1/4" smaller than the originals. I did this
to fit them on the page.
This is the ONLY system that I know of where
you can enlarge or reduce the pattern circles without affecting the
final pattern size.
The final size depends on the measuring tape used to enlarge the pattern pieces
