Quick FAQ
Q) What's the difference between OSRAM Standard and Premium LED's?
A) The difference is that the Standard range has slightly smaller LED's, therefore they're not as bright. They also come with a 4-year guarantee instead of 6 years. Quality-wise although still great, they're not quite on par with the Premium range.
Q) Are they road legal?
A) These bulbs are not permitted for exterior use on public roads as they do not carry ECE approval. They're road legal for interior use only. For certain bulb types that only fit exterior applications, they're for off-road use only (such as agriculture, forestry work etc).
Q) What's with all this 'CAN-BUS' talk?
A) On modern vehicles, you may find after retrofitting LED's that a false blown bulb error message may appear on your dashboard. This is because LED's use far less energy so the on-board CAN-BUS system believes the original halogen bulb has blown. In this case, you may need to fit a CAN-BUS resistor control kit which removes the false blown bulb errors. OSRAM have two types available which are specially made for their retrofit bulbs; a 5W and 21W version.
Simply choose the correct wattage kit for the LED bulbs you've bought. The great thing about OSRAM's CAN-BUS kit is that unlike others on the market, they simply clip and slice into the existing wires with no soldering skills needed! Both kits are available in our shop.

- You may need to know some of your vehicle's specific information to use the part finder tool, such as engine horsepower and the year/month it was manufactured. Most details can be found in your vehicle's registration document (V5 for the UK) if you're unsure. This is because there are many variations of the same car model (trim and optional lighting upgrades from new).
Bulb types that are used in the headlight can sometimes be found stamped or etched onto the headlights housing or lens.
