Drinking Horns ready to use for Mead or whatever beverage you choose.
The inside of the horn is already sealed and cured.
Small horn lengths are approximately 5-6 inches in length and holds between 4-7 ounces.
Medium horn lengths are approximately 8 inches in length and holds between 7-9 ounces.
Medium horn lengths are approximately 12/14 inches in length and holds between 13/15 ounces.
The stand is made of wood, handmade.
Our horns come already cured using a stout or some variety of strong/heavy beer, pouring it into the mate/horn to let it sit for 12-24 hours. Additionally, during the soaking process we check the mate/horn periodically (every four hours) and top off the mate/horn to compensate for any of it soaking into the mate/horn. After that we then rise the mate/horn out and finish the process, where it should be cured.
Clean After Drinking
Hand wash only and towel try your horn after washing.
Specific Horn Care
Do not use horn in a dishwasher.
Do not use it with hot liquids
Avoid contact with harsh chemicals and solvents.
Avoid sharp objects and strong bristles. Hand wash ONLY.
Towel dry your horn after washing.
Keep out of extreme temperatures (hot or cold)
