Most items we sell are Solid Timber and therefore will be very heavy to deliver to your destination.
Therefore careful planning is required to ensure this process is as smooth as possible.

All deliveries will be made to your front door on ground level only, unless there is access to a lift. For heavy or bulky items (such as TV units, buffets, display cabinets, bookshelves, dining tables etc), please make sure there is someone on your end to assist the driver with unloading.
If your destination has tricky access, stairs or requires a two-man delivery, you need to advise prior to organising delivery let as this may incur an additional cost.

We will liaise with you directly so you will know when to expect your delivery. Please make sure you leave us with multiple phone contacts if possible to avoid complications. We may also give you our freight company's contact details so you can call them to discuss the delivery day and time. We get that it's important for you to know what day and time your delivery will take place and we'll always do our best to provide accurate delivery information.

All items are inspected and checked thoroughly prior to dispatch to ensure our strict quality standards are met. Your goods if in stock will leave our warehouse 2-5 business days after full payment and confirmation of order, unless otherwise advised. We will ship all confirmed orders within 2-5 business days of payment unless otherwise stated.

Melbourne deliveries are generally delivered within a week or based on your requirements. Due to the variable nature of our orders and the many different locations we service, transit times will vary.  But we're only a phone call away so please call and we can advise the lead time to your area.


Your Delivery Checklist:

- Provide us with two daytime contact numbers if possible.
- Provide details of special delivery instructions, (i.e. stairs or access issues on site)
- Confirm you will provide assistance at your end to help the driver, otherwise we will need to arrange an additional delivery person to lift and deliver to your destination.
- Please be patient, flexible and accommodating as Bulky Furniture Items require time and care to safely reach your destination.

 
 

CHANGE OF MIND

We know you won't be disappointed with your Designer Timber Furniture purchase. Hence why we back it with a 7 day money back guarantee for change of mind.  Goods must be unmarked and neatly wrapped in original packaging, and in unmarked brand new condition. A full refund will be issued less delivery and return freight cost.

If an item is returned damaged you will not be entitled to a refund. It is your sole responsibility to return the product undamaged and in its original condition. Returns for change of mind will be paid back with return of monies or store credit, it is entirely up to you. Please note our returns limit is $2000 in total, and any amount over this limit will be issued via store credit.

Our Money Back Guarantee does not cover custom made product or specially ordered items for change of mind. This includes Locally made Custom Sized Dining Tables and/or Chairs with a specific chosen linen colour. All our products are covered by a 12 month warranty against workmanship and manufacturing defects for Residential Customers.


All our delivery charges are inclusive of full insurance. In the unlikely event your item is faulty or has been damaged in transit, we will organise a replacement at no charge. It is the purchaser's responsibility to inspect the goods once they arrive and report any damages within 24 hours of receipt of goods. Please note the item needs to be returned carefully wrapped original packaging and in the same condition as received.

Please contact us immediately via phone or email and leave us your contact number so we can take care of any issues. For customers who wish to arrange a refund instead of a replacement this comes under the change of mind policy as above. Designer Timber Furniture reserves the right to make changes to these Terms and Conditions without notice and abuse of this policy will not be tolerated.

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Please choose carefully however as we do not refund simply for change of mind or circumstances.

 
 

When shopping online with us, you can pay by credit card (Visa, Mastercard and American Express), PayPal or Cash (upon pickup, delivery).

All pricing is in Australian Dollars and is inclusive of GST.

We offer the same prices to Australia and New Zealand customers. However, New Zealand customers may incur customs charges and duties charged by the NZ Customs Service once the parcel reaches its destination port. These fees must be paid by the recipient directly to the NZ Customs Service or its authorized service provider. We are not responsible for and will not reimburse any of these charge.

You an choose to use your PayPal account to purchase online. You will be taken to the PayPal payment screen to enter your login details. PayPal encrypts your sensitive financial information so the only person who can see it is you.
