“Bible Symbols, Designed & Arranged to Stimulate a Greater Interest in the Study of the Bible by both young and old”.  (Originally Titled Bible Symbols or The Bible in Pictures).  Prepared and arranged by Martha Van Marter.

Published by John A. Hertel – 1908 (Formally Hertel, Jenkins & Co.).  212 Pages (Last Page states 239* with an explanation on Page 6 as to why though its does not appear to be fully accurate and the Book is complete as bound).

The beautifully Illustrated Book is in good condition.  Pages are clean and without tears though there is some chipping to the Front Free Endpaper and some light handling marks.  Very light toning to the Pages which are very supple.  Binding is tight.

The Leather Boards show significant wear and rubbing results in brown residue (common to many of these old leather covers, of course).  Some chipping along the upper spine.  Gilded Lettering though is still nicely intact.  Measures 7” by 9 ½”.
