  • Add on an optional 110/220v (switchable) 30 Amp DC power supply mounted behind the speaker (see the pictures) and mounted right to the tray for only $100 additional (that's cheaper than the factory supply and doesn't take up any rack space); see the picture of how it can look for you.
  • The Magnetic Mike Clip is a great upgrade; everyone knows that the clip included with that Icom mike is not all that great; Novexcomm fixes it with this; you only drill one hole in the mike back to put the "iron pad" on the back to make it stick to the magnet. When you grasp the mike rotate your wrist a few degrees and the magnet lets go allowing you to pull the mike straight-away from the front panel. Public Safety rated; these are the absolute best thing going. We have done hundreds of these and will convert YOUR mike at no charge; just send it to us!
  • This rack mount, as shown, has a speaker mounted to the panel next to the radio... The speaker we use is the same one as MFJ sells as the model 281 "Clear Voice" speaker.
  • The aluminum tray behind the rack panel is 13" deep; the panel normally does not bolt to the tray but if you like; order the optional corner brackets for only $15 more.
  • This panel will have handles on it, the photoshopped picture is from before the updates to include them. Contact us directly if you would like to leave the handles off (we might miss it if you just make a note).
