to fit out three Sugar Beet Cars.
These are rare and are no longer being made.
The etchings for the mesh on the fences is especially fine - it is etched away
from one side giving a real nice 3 dimensional relief effect that you will enjoy.

"These will allow you to make your own sugar beet cars, utilizing the Precision Masters or Red Caboose 5 bay Ortner hopper cars. I tinkered with them some, and found with a little trimming of the ends, they can be made to fit a Atlas 90 ton hopper, or a MTL 100 ton hopper, thus not limiting one strictly to sugar beets. I will use them for woodchip service, such as private company cars. Another example would be the Bachmann covered hoppers (taking the roof off), or even a gondola. I am finding there are a multitude of uses with these, I just have too many of them to ever be able to use.”
