By Br. Francis Maluf, M.I.C.M.

This course studies matter in motion, substantial change, and therefore, the whole material universe as it manifests the purpose and wisdom of the Creator. The Course of Cosmology should be taken after the Logic course. It is the most basic of the courses in Philosophy having as it's object the study of the material universe. As a philosophic discipline it employs the general conclusions of modern physical science, but it goes far beyond that to a consideration of the order found in the universe which manifests the purpose and wisdom of the Creator. It considers not only what we can know from reason and the study of the natural sciences, but also what we can know from Faith and God's revelations about the cosmos. There is a set of notes included with the course. (25 page booklet included as PDF.)
