Why BIPPS?

To be honest Bay Interiors Perfect Pleats Spacers was a mouthful, and since we are all about simplicity, BIPPS name was born.

The Idea Behind The Product

We know BIPPS are a simple idea, but my are they effective!
We handmake these in Scotland so YOU do not have to.
We use only the highest quality polyethylene foam to ensure any natural flaws are minimal.
We have tried our best to make this product as friendly to our environment as possible – the spacers and their packaging are recyclable.
These spacers are built to last, they glide with your curtains meaning they stay up all day long.

We know we haven’t reinvented the wheel, but we have saved time for the curtain obsessed.

But Where Did The Idea Come From?

After lots of complaining from my wife about the 'squint' curtains, I came up with a long term solution to 'fix' them once and for all!

Unfortunately during COVID I basically lost my own business, my source of income for my family.

I was determined I was not going to take this lying down, one day I remembered the spacers I had made for my wife - could I handmake these in bulk?

I spent weeks designing and making different tools to help make sure the spacers are as even as possible.

I launched BIPPS shortly after, to support an income and also to give me a sense of purpose every day.
