Here we have a simply wonderful Egyptian photo album, an early 20th Century 'Grand Tour' type item. Tooled and painted cotton cover with hand bound edging, each card page has a tissue fore-page, approx' 32 x 23cm and twelve pages though of course you can mount photographs or postcards to both sides, in effect doubling the page count.

Condition Report: As can be seen in out images, considerable foxing and staining is evident, we haven't made nay attempt to remove the staining but we suspect it could be at least improved. Binding is sound, the tissues sheets are creased of course, most pages have stick-on corner mounts but you would need to buy more of these if you wished to fill it nicely. A couple of the card pages have signs of creasing but generally they are quite sound. Not perfect but a truly delicious item.

 

Please study the photo's in detail including the zoom function as they probably state more than I ever could.

 

Will be sent with quality courier such as Parcelforce/Royal Mail, not any of the 'iffy' ones and sent in very sturdy packaging.
