Item Description: This striking green McKee Innovation Crackled Glass Ice Tea Set is in Undamaged Condition without chips, cracks, or mold damage. The crackle glass effect is outstanding. It is a beautiful deep green color. It is hard to believe that a set that is approximately 93 years old could have survived intact and undamaged, but this set is unscathed and stunning.
Innovation Crackled Glassware - (Crystal , Amber, Canary, Green , Pink Satin, Blue, Amethyst) A 1924 ad for "INNOVATION CRACKELED GLASSWARE" gives us a great deal of information about this pattern. Pieces include ice tea sets, water sets, beverage sets, console sets, a salad plate, and a cheese and cracker set. The ad states that the crackle effect is to make the glassware look like cracked ice which gives it a refreshing look for Spring and Summer.
