Rak and Loa of Mazatlan, Mexico, are the artist/owners of Nidart Studios. Located in Old Town across from the Peralta Theater, Nidart is a nest of local artisans and showcases their work on the ground floor of a renovated century-old home. Together they create these contemporary sculptures using hand-dyed leather and original designs. When in Mazatlan, visit their gallery and try some of the house-made, organic ice cream in such flavors as tamarind, avocado and passion fruit.
