New brushes are shipped with a water soluble “glue” holding the

bristles together to prevent damage in shipping.

Just rinse a new brush under warm running water and use your

fingers to soften the sizing and work it out of the bristles.

It usually takes 30 seconds to a minute to really rinse all the sizing out.

You only have to do this once when you first buy the brush.
