This item is a lot of 7 antique cigarette card from a set issued by RJ Lea in 1915. The backs tell us...''Chairman & Vise Chairman Cigarettes, War Pictures Series 1. These cards show drawings of action scenes typical of those encountered in the beginning of WWI, around 1915. The artwork is kind of charcoal and sepia colored, nicely detailed, with a kind of war corespondent/comic book style to it that is very interesting. The backs give written details on the war scene illustration on the front. These 105 year old cards are in mostly great shape with mostly clean fronts and backs, with mostly good corners.
