Genuine Abbe Orthoscopic Eyepiece
 
Genuine Abbe Orthoscopic Eyepieces are highly suitable for lunar, solar and planetary observations, due to their minimal glass layout and sharp optics. They are also useful in stellar- and deep-sky observations, especially when a low amount light-scattering and high contrast is desired for chasing close doubles or faint fuzzies.

Their optical layout is of the Abbe Orthoscopic type with a plano-convex singlet eye lens and a triplet field lens.

These eyepieces are made in Japan by Ohi Optical Manufacturing Co., Ltd, also known as Masuyama. Located in the Ohi district of Tokyo, the company has been producing high-quality eyepieces under their own brand or 3rd party brands for over 70 years.
