Up for sale is a very rare pair of 18th century brass and cast iron Georgian fireplace andirons.

They're made of thick hand turned brass, have nice weight, and have acquired a lovely patina from age.

The andirons feature an elaborate silhouette with footed spherical legs.

Each has wrought iron rests that are peened to the andirons underneath.

The pair is in nice antique condition, very well made, and each measures 14 3/4 inches tall by 7 3/4 inches wide by 14 1/2 inches back to front.
