I purchased this item because it had a switchable FM filter. Installation was easy and brought in stations that I couldn't receive with just an antenna. With 125 ft. of RG-6 quad flex from the antenna to the TV, I needed an antenna booster to make up for the long cable run. In the future, I plan on using a splitter to also feed my FM stereo. This item has adjustable gain on both the UHF and VHF amplifier sections.
