Skip Battin was a member of Skip & Flip, The Evergreen Blueshoes, The Byrds, The Flying Burrito Brothers, The New Riders Of The Purple Sage, Family Tree, and many more.

He died in july 2003. He also released three solo albums, as well as numerous singles under his own name or aliases.

He was a close friend and musical / business partner of Kim Fowley.
