Up for sale is a very rare antique 18th century Italian fresco gouache painting design.

It's beautifully painted/drawn on paper and is rectangular formatted with a hand laid gold gilded matting.

The piece is done with gouache, pencil, and ink wash with an exquisitely elaborate composition throughout.

It depicts many nude cherubs surrounded by intricate foliage, animals, and blue washed figural scene done with a realistic approach.

The fresco is in nice condition and set in a period hand carved gilt-wooden frame.

It measures 13 3/4 inches by 9 inches framed.

the frame has worm hole damage at the top as shown in photo.
