Ayana is a lovely African child whose name means “beautiful flower”.

This little sweetie wears a gorgeous costume created with a stunning floral-on-gold fabric designed and made in the United States, gold trimmed white pantaloons and a matching gold bow in her hair. She also wears a beautiful necklace that features beads and faux gold charms.

Ayana measures 8 inches in height and is an articulated all-porcelain Paulinette that features a moveable head and moveable arms and legs.

Pauline Bjonness-Jacobsen was the inspiration behind some of the most beautiful dolls. As a child, Pauline gave her much loved Emma to her long lost sister, Trudy, and experienced the joy that comes from sharing love. Years later, what was once a hobby grew into a much loved family business which has now closed.

The fundamentals have never changed and there is something of Pauline’s family heritage in each and every doll.
