1976 Wedgwood, Massachusetts 6th State, 200th Anniversary Collector Plate - S3810

Wedgwood China the English manufacturers of fine porcelain have collaborated with the British American Bicentennial Group to create decorative, china plates that tell each state's story with both pictures and words. This is a beautiful and historic commemorative made of fine porcelain by one of the world's finest manufacturers. The measurements of each plate from the Wedgwood company can be confusing. While the box declares the plate as 10 1/2", and a sticker on the box labels it as 8", the plate actually measures 9" across.

New in Box, this plate is in perfect condition and shows the Battle of Bunker Hill on June 17, 1775 which was the first formal confrontation between the British and the Colonists. The Colonists were entrenched on the battleground and repelled two charges with brilliantly timed fire. The third British assault succeeded and forced the Colonists to retreat, however, they left 1,054 Redcoats killed or wounded.

Show your love for your country and for the Great State of Massachusetts with this fine porcelain plate.
