JT 14 (-1t) tooth Front & 43 (-3t) tooth Rear Sprocket (c45 high carbon steel, scm415 chromoly steel alloy )

and a JT high strength Dark Silver/Blk 525 x 112L (Estimated chain length) X-Ring Chain .

(JT calls it Black, but it's more like Dark Silver)

***Taking 1 tooth away from the front sprocket is the same as hypothetically adding 3 teeth to the rear sprocket, therefore this -1/-3 gear ratio cancels itself out and equals the same ratio as the stock OEM 15/46t ratio**

For even FASTER top speed and even LOWER FREEWAY RPM's, use a 40 or 41t rear sprocket

NOTE: The Faster you make it on top end, the slower you will make it off the line.. be advised!!!

For QUICK ACCELERATION kit, you must use 520 sizes chain and sprockets. (call)

* A 1 tooth change in the front is equivalent to a 3 tooth change in the rear.. but opposite effects.

EXAMPLE: (-1 tooth front = +3 teeth rear) or (+1 tooth front = -3 teeth rear)

EXAMPLE: (-1 tooth front and +1 tooth rear combined is the same as +4 rear only without changing the front)

Stock gearing is the factory calculated "happy medium" of both low end acceleration and top end speed.

Half the Power Loss (Compared with Normal O-Ring X-Ring construction reduces friction by twisting between the side plates instead of being squashed. Normal O-Rings and other makers’ modified O-Rings have squashed points that increase friction. The low friction X-Ring disperses the pressure and minimizes power loss.
