The precision router base provide a stable way to support your Dremel tool for freehand routing, inlaying, widening fret slots and more, and the Soundhole and Rosette Routing Jig once assembled with the Precision Router Base will work with your Dremel to cut perfect soundholes and rosette channels for guitars and ukes. It's easy and accurate, this jig can be adjusted from 6" (152.4 mm.) diameter to a small 2" (50.8 mm) cut. Made of solid aluminum and brass parts, the 4mm registration pin will make perfectly concentric circles. The precision router base features a precision cutting depth adjustment with large thumbwheels to eliminate guesswork. Each turn of the large knurled thumbwheels adjusts your Dremel's cutting depth and you can rout an inlay cavity that's precisely compensated for the thickness of the pearl and glue, for less sanding later.

Tall twin handles give you excellent control for freehand routing, and you get a good view of your work. There's even a built-in nozzle for attaching a mini air pump to continuously blow away the dust; you'll rout inlay cavities more precisely, for a better fit requiring less filler.

The 3/4-12 thread of the Precision Router Base fits:
- Dremel 100, Dremel 4000, 400XPR, Professional, MultiPro™ and most corded models made since 1986
- Black & Decker Wizard™ and RTX™

Instructions:

Attach the jig to the router base, then mount your Dremel or Foredom tool. Insert the registration pin through the center of the uncut soundhole, and into your work surface. Place the jig on the pin. Set the diameter of cut with the adjusting screw, and lock it down. The router base adjusts the cutting depth. Rout your rosette rings first, then cut out the soundhole.

All mounting screws and allen wrenches are included.
